Rev. Dr. Rudolf V. D’Souza, OCD, serves as the pastor of Saint Stephen’s Catholic Church in Cayuga, Ontario. A member of the Karnataka-Goa Province of the Order of Discalced Carmelites, he is renowned for his seminars, workshops, and conferences on prayer and spirituality, both in India and internationally. Dr. D’Souza holds a master’s degree in Sociology from Karnataka University, a Diploma in Teresian and Sanjuanistic Studies from the Centro Internacional Teresiano-Sanjuanista in Spain, and a Doctorate in Theology with a specialization in Spirituality from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. He has authored numerous books, including “The Bhagavadgita and St. John of the Cross” and “Living in the Loving Castle.” In 2012, he played a pivotal role in establishing the first Carmelite formation house in Canada. His dedication to fostering spiritual growth continues to inspire the Saint Stephen’s parish community.
